I've got a ZM Planar and C-Biogon in my arsenal, but they don't fit so good in my fanny pack. From the examples I've seen on Flickr, the Contax T2 and 3 appear to have vignetting throughout the aperture range, whereas with the C-Biogon it's gone by f/5.6. Corner softness from 18mm out (or maybe it's field curvarture) on the Klasse/AFM35 and Minilux/CM are too noticeable. Do you know of any (more corrected) f/2.8 p&s's with some manual provisions that aren't so obviously on the radar?

Thanks,
A

Wouln't getting a better camera bag the easies & the most effective solution? Hack, with your budget, you can even buy more than one, of different styles!

Minolta AF-C: af, Program exposure, manual film advance. 6 elements lens.

Rollei 35 S/SE: full manual with light meter. It is on the radar but you probably would pay less then an, say, Olympus Mju II these days.

Flare resistance aside, the Rollei 35S appears to have the best image quality of the suggested fixed lens options.
