I was just poking around on the ffordes website and they have a CV 15mm lens adapted for your contax; pretty cool, I thought...

A store here in Bremen had one on eBay a couple of month ago, since they are on my way to work I've had a look at it. The conversion looks realy well done, since the Gs rangefinder works without a lens one can measure the distance and transfer it manualy to the lens, nice feature IMHO.
If I'd had 650 Euros to spend for a spedicality lens I might have been tempted :)

Um... I would say hideously expensive. I really don't see a conversion costing what a hologon costs these days as realistic.

Um, £399 for the conversion or the lens? If for the conversion... cheaper than I remember from Zoerk... if total: a steal!
 
Guys, I'm trying to help you out here. Can't believe it's still there!

It's a Zoerk converted lens, looks near mint, includes double shoe adaptor fitted with finder and bubble level. And it's £399.

I emailed ffordes this morning about the lens (in particular the issue of VAT). Here is their response:
Thank you for your email regarding the Voigtlander lens we have which is
adapted for the Contax G series bodies, this is being sold on commission
for a customer so there is no VAT to deduct from the price, I do however
think that he would accept an offer of £350 for the lens though.

The cost of sending the lens to you by Royal Mail would be £20 and would
take a week to ten days to arrive with you.

I hope we can interest you int he lens at this price and if you have any
further queries or would like to order it then please contact me again.

I have the 15mm in LTM, and a G2 (as well as a Bessa R and Leica M6), so luckily, I will not have to immediately send ffordes some cash. This combination is currently over $1200 in the states. Someone else should grab it!
