MC Meter question...

i recently acquired a MC Meter to use on my M3, as i never used this meter before, i noticed that the meter doesnt really 'start working' until few minutes after taking out of the camera bag.

does this type of meter take time to work? or is the cell dying?

Mine works immediately - - no time lag. I think you are very lucky if you get a MC that actually still works...
