Mc Sorley`s

1 of my favorite joints, too. The service can often be "McSurly," but hey, the prices are reasonable & it's NYC, so I can't really complain. Tough place to shoot, though, because it's always so dark.

Great images, and memories.

I used to take "breaks" at McSorley's between classes during my undergrad. It was difficult to remember to brush off the sawdust from my shoes before meeting with my professors; otherwise, they'd never believe that I was actually studying.

...which, in point of fact, I wasn't. Ah, NYC.

always a blast, but i have a great aunt who doesn't think very highly of them since they didn't let women in until 1967

in between rounds of half pint glasses sometime, order the cheese plate. it consists of

an onion
half a sleeve of saltines
half a brick of cracker barrel cheddar cheese

and believe it or not it's fantastic

Total agreement. That onion (and the hell-hot mustard that accompanies it) really makes the plate, IMO.

Hi all and Thank you for your friendly comments.
I`m just back from my holidays in Austria.
Flyfishing and walking and a lot of rolls of films with wild flowers, dramatic skies,- but with good old underrated Leica R3 and Macro-Elmarit.
Best regards Wolfhard
