Mechanics and Automatics

Hello everybody,

i want to make a list of all rangefinders actually available in the categories "Mechanics" and "Automatics".

Please add cameras if i forgot one.

Here is my list (11/2006):

MECHANICS (no batteries, keep on shooting):

- Leica MP
- Voigtländer Bessa R3M
- Voigtländer Bessa R4M (available in 2007)

AUTOMATICS (no batteries, no working):

- Leica M8
- Leica M7
- Epson R-D1s
- Zeiss Ikon
- Zeiss Ikon SW
- Voigtländer Bessa R2A
- Voigtländer Bessa R3A
- Voigtländer Bessa R4A (available in 2007)
- Mamiya 7II

I'd thought you meant all M-mount cameras, but you included the Mamiya, so you might also include the Bessas prior to the R?A, all of which I believe were mechanical.

The m7 works without batteries on the two speeds that mater most.

The bessa r and r2 are mechanical as well

The mamiya 6 is a battery camera

Hello,

it should be a list of cameras still available. The mount is of no interest only the concept "rangefinder".
