Cheers - John

I'm really sorry I missed this, looks like a great day. I didn't arrive back from Laos until the 26th. I spent Saturday 24th in Ubon Ratchathani, NE Thailand, nursing a very ill partner and elder daughter, whilst wondering how I was going to get them onto three different planes for the flight home the next day. The meet-up would have been much more fun :).

cheers,
clay

Deeply envious of your get together - and looks warm and nice too! How come Jon is not using a Nikon Rangefinder? He is always tempting me with his 21f4 when we get together in japan. Nice to put faces to the RFf guys too.

My Nikkor-O 21mm F4 only comes out once a year for special occasions, Tom. Its pretty much my "tempt Tom A when he's in Tokyo" lens :D

Lynn was having focus priority issues with his XA

I suspected Lynn was paying more attention to the pretty girls, umm I mean people, walking by than the conversation that day! I probably would have too if I was sitting on the other side of the table :p

Oh my, just got around to actually spending some time with these photos! Very nice John and Lynn!

How in the world did you guys best the digital shooters?

Thanks Lynn. Pete can tell us all about Abbott when he visits the New York group in January! we are very looking forward.

Lynn, thanks for posting a photo of me which I actually don't mind. It must be your portrait skills.
JMQ, can't wait to see you and the others! Abbott is already rapidly receding in Australia's collective memory, probably being actively blocked by all sentient beings. You might have to put me under hypnosis, or water torture, to dredge those memories.
