Tennessee Memphis TN Cameras and Coffee

I’m trying to organize a coffee and cameras group locally. I created a facebook event for Saturday 9/27 9am at Otherlands coffee shop in midtown. If anyone is close to Memphis and has interest please come. If you have something like this in your area how did you promote it? I’ve been to local photography club and it’s great at what it does but it’s an older demographic and all digital shooters. They looked at me like an alien when I walked in with an M4.

We have a group in Portland. It is always two, sometimes more. You may not fill a football stadium but you will have fun. Just show up and others will, too.

Good to know it’s slow to build. So far the only people who marked interested on Facebook consists of me, a guy who lives on another continent, and my wife’s aunt Beverly. 😂😂😂

Just show up, order coffee and shoot the breeze with whomever shows up. It is not a numbers game. Our small group has fun. And so far we have made our bail after every meeting. ;o)
