Hello. I'm about to set up a darkroom. I live in East Eu, so no beseler, omega etc. But the old Czech enlargers are going for nothing here. For 25 euro i can get it with 50 and 80 lens 35 and 6 x 6 carriers. The other one is Krokus Color 4 for about the same money. So my question is which one to choose ? I have no idea about enlargers, just want to print some pics

I'd go Meopta the build is slightly better; if you make sure that both are mechanically sound.

Go for the Meopta Opemus 6. With 50mm and 80mm a perfect combination for 35mm till 6x6cm roll film format. When you have the chance for a Magnifax 4A even better. A very sturdy enlarger.
I have worked over 30 years with an Opemus enlarger but last 15 years with a Dunco II 67 120 pro, made in Germany.

I've been using my Opemus 6 for fifteen years now. No problems with it.

Still developing
I have Two Opemus IIIs in the darkroom and a Krokus 35 Color in the attic.
Only used the Krokus once, and compared to the Meoptas it's quite crappy, to be honest.
Opemus enlargers are also more modular, so it's easier to get parts/accessories for, since most are compatible between models.
