Was something touching the shutter speed dial for those last frames? A finger tip or a cap brim touching the dial will cause it to drag and the shutter curtains will not part. Lack of lubrication on the shutter mechanism will cause the same effect.
My IIIa started producing blank frames a few months ago, a DIY CLA fixed it.

Hi,
Perhaps the clutch holding the take-up spool is a little loose? But that means a bit of sprocket damage.
Anyway, I had it happen to my IIIc and it was quickly repaired.
For problems like this it's best to have a cassette of film and run it through with the [back open or the] base off and see what it happening. The film will be wasted but you'll find the problem.
And you can use the wasted film to practice cutting the correct shape at the start...

We have lots of ideas, but there are limited options for your issue. Lets use some logic;
You have a lot of film at the end of the roll that was not exposed.
Therefore it didn't get any light on it.
This can be because a) the shutter didn't fire, or b) it was never brought in front of the film gate.
If a) it needs a service
If b) it can be because i) you didn't wind the the film on when you thought you were or ii) the gears were slipping.
If ii) it needs a service
If i) then it is likely user error, but it could have jammed somehow making you think you were at the end of the roll (my M6 sometimes does this, but I don't think the iii has the same mechanism)
So, we need some more information:
What made you think it was the end of the roll? Did it A) not wind anymore? or B) was the counter at 36?
If A) then either see a) above, or your film jammed.
If B) then it's user error or see ii) above.

It is likely the lens. I'd suggest a 21 to check frame spacing.

Half joking, but a 21 will leave very narrow frame spaces, more easily shows irregularities in spacing.

I'm with 02Pilot.
I just did that myself, for the first time in years, a few days ago. It was raining so I kept my lens cap on (normally I don't even use one) and took 3 shots before I remembered it was still on!
The joys of shooting a meterless RF..

Maybe the film came off the spool on the wind-on side? Unlikely, perhaps, considering you've already shot ten photos, so it was probably on there OK the whole time. But it still smarts the time I shot a whole roll (20+ years ago) with the leader not caught fully on the spool, and no, I didn't notice the rewind crank was not turning.

Tbh, that's the case! I was surprised how fast I finished rewinding it. Now that's most likely the problem. Thank you css9450

I always take off the lens cap too.
I always make sure the rewind know spins as I advance.
I always make sure that the film is loaded correctly.
Every now and then I take shots with the lens cap on, and every now and then I don't load the film correctly and the rewind doesn't spin and I keep shooting without noticing it.
It's very unlikely that the film wound on perfectly for 10 shots and then failed.

I had a problem Last summer with a film in my 111c, I got 7 frames out of 36 all the rest blank, not exposed ! And I remember wow that rewound quick !
The problem was, a not quite tight screw, on the Rewind Lever. And it had moved out of engagement. I did not notice the Backwinding knob not turning!
When I loaded the next film, I noticed the Rewind Lever was loose.
