I currently use a plastic Voigtlander 21mm viewfinder which has slightly rotated framelines, I'd say about 5 degrees counter clockwise, enough to show on pictures and need cropping to make it even, reducing the 21mm field of view. I've tried unscrewing it to rotate the piece with the framelines but one of the bolts was extremely tight and I'm afraid I damaged the + slot for the screwdriver... So I thought of getting a metal finder.
Considering I prefer shooting with a 21mm, the 25mm framelines on the new metal Voigtlander 21/25 external viewfinder would be of no use. I'm wondering if anyone has tried to remove specific framelines from one of these viewfinders.
Other ideas on how to fix my current viewfinder given the situation or other turnarounds are most welcome too! Maybe cut a mask from black paper?
Thanks
