Hi All,
I just got a CL recently and it seems to be working fine except the meter is overexposing by two stops. I have a 1.35v mercury battery in there. Is it possible the overexposure is happening because the meter has been adjusted for 1.5v? Or is it something much more difficult to fix?
Thanks!

Very possible. My CL uses a CHRIS adaptor and is bang on compared to my handheld spot meters (well semi-spot).

Hello,
I put in a 625A 1.5V battery into my CL.
And I have to set ISO as 50 for 400 film (3stops) for the meter to be accurate. Could it be meter problem or simply voltage discrepancies?
Thanks
Wei

Could be a meter problem. If it's not working with either battery. It could be going and not reading right.
Check the contacts to see if they're clean to make sure there's no interference between the battery and contacts
Would use a hand meter or sunny 16 rule
Other choice is to send it in to someplace to have it checked over
