I just got a roll of film back from my MG-1 and am I ever impressed by what I got! Unfortunately I didn't have the negatives scanned to a disc because I really wasn't sure of what I'd get back, but now I wish I had. I bought this camera at a flea market a couple of years ago and for the longest time thought that it didn't work. In fact I had it in a bag to take to Goodwill because I wasn't able to sell it as a parts camera on the big auction site. Just by chance I thought I'd try cleaning the battery chamber and sticking in the battery from my GSN I had at the time, and it worked! So now I've put a roll of film through it and am amazed by the performance of the lens. Incredibly sharp and it captures the color superbly. This is definitely going to get a lot of use from now on. Anyone else have experience with this camera?

I had a couple of MG-1s pass through my hands, and they are really fun cameras. I probably will end up getting another soon. Looking forward to seeing your pictures.

Yah, I really enjoyed mine too but ended up selling because I wanted comple manual control. The money I made from selling lots of smaller gear went towards my Bessa.

I have one MG-1 sitting in a box from my brothers belongings for about 15 years now. Just on a whim decided to see f it can work. I am sending a roll to develop this week. It opened up my curiosity so much on ebay I bought a Electro GS and the atoron camera. A few years back I worked in a long island place that use to print minox film. I am curious as to the difference between the GS and MG-1

I just got these cameras and found this wonderful forum today. I had to friddle with a PX28 and a couple of springs, but they are good to go now. I'll post pictures when I get them. Hello to all!
