Pan Giannakis
Whilst looking for someone to service my Olympus OM1 I came across this obituary.

It seems that he has passed away. He was only 69.
Those who had the pleasure of having their cameras repaired by Mr Spencer know what a gentleman he was. Once I sent an OM1 and had over 30mins chat on the phone whilst he was taking it apart. He seemed to like Olympus cameras and that was coming across from the way he talked about it. He seemed to be very knowledgeable repairman and gave me the impression of someone who really enjoyed talking about cameras and lenses.
He told me back then (I think it was Jan 2015) that he was slowing down with the view to retire eventually. He asked me *not* to pay him until I receive the camera and check that I was happy with the level of work !!!
