Milan, Italy (snapshots)

It occurs to me, that if what you want is to post online, why even have anything other than a cellphone?

Raid, your photos are quite impressive, I am enjoying seeing them.

Thank you. I order prints once in a while from film cameras. A cell phone cannot match the colors from a Leica M9 camera. They are very subtle and like a painting.

Inquiring minds want to know, Raid, did you step on the bull, putting your heel on it and rotating, in the Galleria? Giorgio

It must have been my loss, but I did not do this. Many people there were enjoying doing it, though.

Beautiful.

To me, black and white photographs better tell the story without the distractions of color.

Thanks for sharing your work with us on rangefinder firum.

Thank you Bill. B&W is relatively new to me. Robert's focus on B&W encouraged me to try it our myself. It is growing on me.

I think colour can be appropriate in the Milan Galleria, Raid. here is my photo of it from September last year.

Hi Raid, I hope you and Rashe do not mind if I add a contribution to your thread with a photo from our Milan visit :)

Robert and I stopped by the main Leica Store in Milan. The goal was meeting with the Leica Italia General Manager (Renato Rappaini) there, but he was out of his office, so we missed him by 10 minutes. Mr. Rappaini was expecting me, and I had his contact information, but I hesitated contacting him. There is hopefully a second time one day.

They had a workshop on the Leica SL with people trying out Leica equipment. They were shooting outside the Leica store.

I used a 35mm Lux here with the M8.
