Shoot first, think later
Just bought a Hexar RF case by Kameraleder from Trout here. The case is gorgeous but infected with what I suppose must be some kind of mildew; it stinks like hell. I have several new and not so knew leather cases and am 99.9% certain it's not that "new leather smell".
Wondering if there is a home-made recipe to get rid of this smell and the underlying fungus w/out damaging what is otherwise a very presentable case. I've considered direct sunlight but read somewhere that to kill fungus, it must be penetrated. The smell comes from the inside of the case.
Would appreciate any advice.
