Mini review of jinfinance Micro 4/3 – M mount adapter

After you mentioned the click I went back and tested that, all my lenses made a distinct "click" when attached and the locking ping drove home.

I'll have to investigate the adapter that's on the 35/2 Hex UC, which didn't click but did lock. I tried several other lenses when I got home and they did "click."

To close my experience with the adapter out - jinfinance acknowledged the problem with infinity focus and will make a corrected batch. Since I received my Cameraquest adapter, I asked for and received a refund and will return the adapter - no problems.

When he makes a c-mount adapter I may try one.

Just thought I would mention, I emailed jinfinance about the infinity problem with the adapters and he said he would ship a new one out to me from their second batch as soon as they were ready. He also said I dont even have to bother sending the one I have here back. Hows that for service?

Yes, very easy to deal with - mistakes happen, its how they are handled that really matter.

Yesterday I picked up a G1 and now that I got the adapter on it I find the fitting for the adapter to the camera has a little play in it, and when I focus it moves back and forth a hair in both directions. So far though it is usable.

One thing that I have discovered that is really really annoying is that the lens release on the adapter is scratching the hell out of my middle finger's nail!

A question about the adapters - I've ordered both the M-mount and the M39 screw mount from "jinfinance". Am I correct in assuming the M39 will correctly take my CV Ultron 35mm? I have a 21mm Skopar and also a 40mm Nokton that I'll use with the M mount but I occasionally get confused by the names attached to each of these adpaters and the lenses they can be used with.
By the way "jinfinance" was very easy to deal with. The G1 arrived today. I understand that one of the "jinfinance" adapters is backordered for a couple of weeks. Thanks.

Does AV mode work with this adapter? (I set aperture value via ring on lens and the m4/3 camera sets the shutter speed). Thank you.

I bought a Canon FD adapter on ebay for around $36 with free shipping. It came in about a week or two and works great and seems decently constructed.
