Minilux/ CM Repairs Opinions

Hi!

I have a leica CM and a minilux with the usual problem, 02 errors

I was able to fix the CM by making new lttle copper cables so i avoided to install a new Flexible circuit board, the good part is that if any cable gets cut i can simply fix it.

Now i have this Minilux, but i don´t have time to fix it in the same fashion as the CM.
I looked on ebay and there are two techs that offer to change the cable.

Has anyone experience with these techs? One from portugal the other form Ukraine.

Advice is welcome!

I asked the same question last year and never heard from anyone who had actually done this with the Ukraine tech guy. I also wrote directly to the Portugal site and never had a response. I have gotten close to taking a chance and sending out the camera to the Ukraine but the cost and idea of paying up front and sending my pristine minilux to an unknown service provider, for a service that may or may not last, plus the potential customs issues on the return, has always stayed my hand. But I do regret not having my minilux running. The few rolls I put through it had many photos with that special magic....

I tend to trust these guys, but always an opinion helps a lot.

I´ll think about it and if i send it i´ll let you know about my experience.
