Minilux manual focus question

Dear Minilux users

I've lost my instruction manual and would like to be reminded of the intermediate manual focus distance settings.

The focus wheel of my camera (in meters) has:

0.7 - DOT - 1 - DOT - 2 - DOT - 3.5 - DOT - 7 - DOT - infinity

Does someone know what the DOT settings are?

Of course I can guess them, but it would be nice to know exactly.

The dots are distance between the 2 stated value (you knew that) but weighted more towards the higher value.

When you line up the green AF symbol on the focus dial with the aperture that you've manually selected, the Minilux is set for hyperfocal use. The depth of field will now cover the distance from half the focussed distance indicated at the green P mark up to infinity.

A further small question...

A further small question...

On the left side of the camera (the side with the rear-door latch) there's a little plastic pin stuck in a hole in the side of the camera.

I can pull the plastic pin out with my finger nail - what is that thing for? Is it a cable release socket?

The little plastic pin pin is where the water drains out.

No, kidding, I believe it's the the electronic cable release. And I understand a generic cable release will work just as well as a pricey Leica one. But I never tried it.

I have a spare Minilux Instructions book here and can mail it to you tomorrow, Monday, if I have your name and address.
