the minolta i bought from doug reilly has at long last made it's way to my door.
no fault of doug's, the mail was worse than the snail's pace it's noted for.

anyway...it's a great little camera and i look forward to putting some film in it.
i am surprised that it's bigger than my oly 35rc as it always looked a touch smaller in pics.
the camera looks mint but has a very slight lens wobble, not uncommon in these older fixed lens cameras.
it came with a minolta flash and 3 filters too, plus a new looking everyready case. (already removed and stored away)
this is a cool rig and the plan is to use it for an everyday camera for awhile and to use it, along with the 35rc, for short outings with one camera shooting 100 speed and the other 400 speed film.

did i mention it looks new?

😉

I'm sooo jealous! This is my "someday" camera (small with full manual override and fast lens) the acquisition of which I'm SURE will just end my GAS...(riiight!)😀

Congrats joe! Ya think a photo of it might show up in the C&C thread? It has the 40mm lens, right? IMHO, it's very nice carry-round FL and the couple of Rokkors I've shot produced super [quality] photos. Enjoy!

Congrats Joe! It's a fantastic camera that I've been using for some time now. The lens wobble is common as all my 7sii seems to wobble a bit.

I'll have a black 7sii that I'll be selling soon.
