Minolta AL-F

I have a slightly damaged one (aperture blades stick and frame counter doesnt count) and I've used it for 2 rolls. The lens is good and the thing feels sturdy. Its not that small though (compared to my Vivitar 35ES). The wider angle lens is very nice for the street as well. It does take the old murcury batteries so you have to use wein cells or convert the electronics.

Hope thats helpful for you!

I had a Minolta AL, but I can't remember which model it was cause that was back in the 60's. It was a neat camera, built in meter that you centered the needle on the top deck of the camera for proper exposure. I took some great slides with it, which I still have someplace, and also carried it with me crossing the Pacific on a freighter. Still have those pics as well. I don't throw anything away, just ask my wife. Can't remember what happened to it, but I'm sure it got replaced by an slr while in Okinawa.
