Found this Minolta AL at a swap meet this morning for cheap.
Shutter is clean and fully working (top speed 1/1000!). Clean
and fairly bright VF/RF with parallax compensation. Selenium
meter is kaput but aperture & speed can both be manually set.
Good cosmetic condition. Lens = 45/2 and is clean.

Three things I like about this camera: Large VF/RF, the 1/1000
top speed (a pretty rare feature in a leaf shutter even if it
isn't really 1/1000) and it has a little round access plate on the top
cover that can be twisted off to reveal adjustment screws (for
the RF, I presume). So, no need to remove the whole top cover.

It handles pretty well too.

My weekend finds: Luna-Pro SBX meter $10 (have not put in battery yet); Lowepro Nova 3 $5; checking out my junk box in basement found an Olympus OM-10 with the FC addition. I was about to take it apart because the shutter would not fire. Instead I put in two batteries and the darned thing fired right up. (I found it about a year ago with 4 lenses for $20.) (No photos as I've given up digital until...)
