The meter works, Led lighting up. The battery are news. When I press the shutter release button nothing happens.
Anybody has an idea ?

Thank you. Yes I did. I even changed the batteries. What is strange is that the Led used to go up and down before stabilizing on the good value and now, the sutter release button does not work but the Leds are sharp and not blinking anymore ?????have you tried a re-set by taking the batteries out for a few minutes?
can it be on a long exposure?
Thank you.Does it fire using the self timer? Can you try that and get back to me
Thank you.
Unfortunatly no.
Best regards
Thanks a lot for taking care.Open the back of your CLE (make sure no film in camera ofcourse) and also remove the lens. Turn the camera ON and GENTLY try to move the shutter curtain with thumb and pointing finger in one way or the other. Perhaps this can release the shutter mechanism.
This has happened to me twice and the method described above has solved the problem.
