Hi there
Can anybody let me know whether the shutter speed dial on the CLE, when used manually, gives stepless speed changes? ie between the indents do we have different speeds available?
I know that in Auto the speeds are stepless and I read an English language brochure..

.. that in manual it is stepless but I can't really find any confirmation and I'm loath to rely on one source given that translation was often an issue in the early 80s!

No, in manual mode shutter speed can only be changed stepwise.

Thank you Greg! First time I've needed a question answering that I haven't been able to find on here so joined up!
I suspected it would be stepped. That English Language brochure seems to be a red herring in that regard.
