I can confirm that the CLE works a treat with the 25mm Snapshot Skopar. Took it all over Asia with great results. Light weight and small form factor make for an easy all day carry, and the focal length and detente zone focus combine to make for a great street shooter in tight spaces. Once at a journey endpoint, I found that HK is one of the few places in the world where (albeit few) people recognize and comment admiringly about the CLE.

Dude, you're everywhere. I just saw your comment on BHT's YouTube post about the CLE.
I'm in a similar situation.
I have the CV 15 and CV 25 a Bessa-L body and a Canon P.
Need something lighter than the P and smoother than the L for walk-about and travel.
Will follow this thread with interest.

Well the CLE is those, and also smaller than either. The only mild nuisance is that the height of the VF above lens is slightly greater than something like the L.
The other niggle is that it turns its meter off when you go manual - an idiosyncrasy of the metering system Minolta borrowed from the base model MG SLRs of the era. If they had used the all-singing, all-dancing MD metering modes the CLE would have been by far the best Leica compatible of the 20th century.
That said, it beats the metering on the Canon P!

How's the CLE 28mm framelines for glasses wearers?
Better than Canon P 35mm?
(OP: Please let me know if I'm threadjacking too much)

CLE 28 is fine with glasses. There are downsides to 0.6 magnification and some upsides.
