I don't have it yet, because the Minolta was gone by the time I was convinced by the RFF members over here. But I'll keep looking for one, I'll keep you posted.

I've been using the Konica Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400 II (belongs to work) for about a year and its been very good and I've been happy with the scans. There are some caveats however:
1. I could not get it to work properly with Vuescan under Windows XP. The colours were always well off - kind of turquoise skies all the time.
2. Once i found the original Konica software it worked very well, but there are no drivers for Vista and never will be - Konica Milnolta are finished - you are time/land locked to Windows XP.
I bought a Minolta Dimage Scan Elite II this morning as it happens from Phototrader classifieds for $Au200. This is an earlier model with only 2800dpi but I'm hoping the scan quality will be okay.
