Minolta Hi Matic 7sii & "E" - "Name Ring" Same?

Hello everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has a Minolta Hi Matic 7sii and the Hi Matic E that they can look at for me to compare the "name ID ring". As I mentioned in a prior thread, I have an 7sii that is missing the name ring and was wondering if I can use the Hi Matic E's, which is cheaper & easier to get on evilbay, name ring instead of trying to find one from the 7sii.

They both have 49mm threads, 1.7 Rokkor lens. The only difference I see is the QF label on it. I'm not sure they are the same size which what I'm concerned with.

Anyone have the two together that they can compare for me visually? Thought I'd ask here before I buy a "E".

Hi I have only just come acros your thread, I have a MINOLTA 7sII & MINOLTA E HI-MATIC, I have compared the two and they are simular but not quite the same. Apart from the QF on the ring (also the font is different) there is a slight difference on the inner ring as well as a different size light window. If you still need the info to be sure I could take a shot of the two side by side,let me know
