I retrieved my film cameras out of storage. Among my rangefinders is a Minolta Maxxum 7000 that I used for sporting events, soccer games etc. I put in fresh batteries and everything fired up except for the exposure and shutter speed readings inside the viewfinder. They appear on the data panel but not in the viewfinder which is handy in changing light conditions. Any ideas?

Real Men Shoot Film.
LCD probably died. Its a 35 year old electronic camera and was one of the first totally computer controlled camera models. A lot of them have LCD problems.
