Is there such a thing a Minolta MD-to-Leica M adapter? I've found some lovely old MD lenses that would go nicely with my Ms.

I love those MDs, but there's nothing like focusing on a rangefinder.

Minolta to Leica-M?

Minolta to Leica-M?

Seems like almost impossible. Maybe physically it is possible (the Leice flange-to-film distance is less than the Minolta's), but how do you imagine the focussing to work? There is no way in which the lens 'tells' the camera about the distance focussed upon.
I used to have a Leica screwmount-to-Minolta adapter, that i used for close-up work (no INF focus possible), but then you use the camera screen for focussing.
I also have some fine MC/MD lenses, and i bought a X700 to fit them ($50 with winder).

Hi,

some time ago Stephen Gandy sold - quite expensive - adapters to mount SLR-Lenses on M-Mount bodies. They were coupled to the RF so that you could read off the distance and focus the lens according to the measured distance. The adapters were available for a lot of SLRs. But NOW i can't find them on his site www.cameraquest.com. Maybe it's a good idea to ask him about that. He now sells only adapters without coupling, and also not for MD.
