Minolta Scan Dual II any good?

Came across one locally for not much money ($50). Is it any good or should I save up some more and get something better?

I have had one for almost 2 years. Good scanner, and a steal at $50.

I got a dual scan 3 the other day for $120 on ebay. Im playing around with it now, the results are good so far, but Im having trouble adjusting the exposure.
