Minolta X700 Pb

Hello,
I've got a slight problem with my X700 : the shutter exposes only one half of the picture ; I knew of shutter capping for mechanical RFs for example, but not for electronic cameras? Has any of you experienced the same kind of problem?

oui si c'est un rideau en toile c'est apreil, sans doute un rideau mal tendu ou une mort qui ne va pas tarder à avoir lieu

The X700 and most of the other electronic cameras of the late 70's and early 80s use springs to drive the shutter curtains and electronics to time them. The springs that move the first curtain and those that drive the second have to be adjusted so that the two curtains move the same speed, just like on a totally mechanical camera.

i have to admit that every single Minolta SLR I have, does have a problem... erraticaly working A mode on the XG-M, light leaks on the X300, and the X700... well it's the problem... Such a great bunch of lens and no camera to serve them properly... should in a XD7!
