Minox IIIs pics

Here are some pictures from the first roll that I had run through my Minox IIIs in many years. I used some Kodak Portra 400 that had been loaded on a Minox cassette from MS Hobbies in the UK.

I've used the III for years, it's a wonderful camera. With today's films even 8x11s are quite acceptable.

Well, I'd have expected more grain and less blur. Perhaps scan screwed up (or past the capabilities of the scanner)? The Complan lens ought to be significantly sharper than Portra 400 grain level. If the negatives are as blurry as well, there is something wrong, perhaps an issue with the pressure plate spring - on the curved field lenses of the earlier post-war Minoxes that will show up quite dramatically.

Scanning would be my guess. I'm told that small a negative can be a real probem child for scanning.

I was wondering about that. Maybe I should send my negatives off some where to be optically printed. Who can do this?

Where can I get my IIIs CLA'd ?
