Mint Boxed Leicas - a personal comment

Well, my M6 Classic is near-mint and came in a box, but it's definitely for using - it won't really feel like it's mine until I start putting my own scuffs and scratches on it.

And it came with the plastic still on the bottom, but I've been inspired by this thread and I've just ripped it off! And damn any $100 loss in the resale value 😉

(Hmm, I wonder if I could sell the bit of plastic on eBay)

I implore everyone, liberate yourself from this financial burden and responsibility, and sell all your boxes, (camera that is – a pun for the UK and Antipodeans – lovers of cricket), on EBay.

Plus all the female members are allowed to burn theirs - if they can take the financial loss

Alright I'll admit it, I kept the boxes. An insurance policy in case the M9 turns out to be the M7 with an M8 shutter mechanism. 😎

I keep the boxes for my lenses- they tend to come and go a little more often😀

If I were lucky enought to get a reissued S3 or SP I would USE IT! Yes, I would do the same thing I did with my M4-P and M6 classic years ago. I want to use the stuff I have, otherwise why do I have it?
