"The lens has no significant issues like fungus or haze"
Well, given the huge amount of mold spots one can see on the shutter curtains fabric on the original listing pictures, I wouldn't vouch for this "no fungus" statement...
Anyway who's the fool who would now spend a fortune on this ?

Highway ,
Obviously the camera is way overpriced and the condition is challenged at best .
I have seen worse black s2 go at $2400 plus , so that is probably the minimum
Value of an original kit . So the $1700 original price still a deal .
Perhaps the seller doesn't want to sell it .
I had a black canon vt deluxe that was ' found ' when someone was restoring an old sailboat , stashed in the front hull wrapped in a towel in Hawaii Condition was extremely poor .
It took another chrome vt to get it to function .
Many months and many dollars later I had a well worn vt black paint .
It sat on a shelf , finally I realized , trigger winders are not my interest .
As my friends grandfather said ' there is an ass for every seat '

na hes playing dumb jkYep. Worst mistake is admitting in the auction you don't know anything about what you are selling.
That post was referring to the original sale back in December.

$75! People really shouldn't sell using buy it now unless they know what something is worth.
