I have recently bought the wonderful Color-Skopar 35/2.5 LTM. It's not the pancake version but the very first one. It came with a third party hood. I kept wondering why there is no text on the lens stating which lens it is, and then it hit me: there should be a small ring hood attached to it which you can take off when using an external hood pictured here.
I am unable to find this small ring anywhere to buy separately, and unfortunately it's been way too long since I've bought it and therefore returning it is not an option. It's not the end of the world, but it bothers me way more than it should. Before selling it cheap out of frustration, I thought about asking here if anyone has any ideas where to find a spare one. Thank you very much in advance for any pointers.

The hood came with the lens when new. Kind of hard to find now. Maybe check with the Head Bartender here as he is a dealer for that brand.

This lens is listed as 35 2.5 C and with LH-2 hood sold for this lens separately.

The LH-2 is a square lens hood sold separately. As stated in the info for the 35 2.5 C "Unlike the 35/2.5 Pancake version, a sunshade is included with each lens." This refers to a small round ring shaped hood that did in fact ship with the lens and is what I referred to the OP.

Everyone who posted here know about original hood.
I was providing info about optional hood for this lens which is available for purchase at this moment.
Just in case if OP still wants Viogtlander hood. Not generic.
It is hard to get what op wants. Looks like lens is only beautiful for OP with original hood and if not, it is not beautiful and for sale
So I was able to find even more beautiful Viogtlander hood for OP.
But maybe some one has original hood as orphan. I would post WTB at as many forums as possible.

Maybe contact the seller and ask if they have that original hood in a drawer...

Thanks for the inputs. I was actually toying with the idea of getting the LH-2 hood. But since I planned on using it on my Leica CL as a super compact setup the hood makes it just a tad too bulky for my taste. The thing is that the lens still looks very nice without it, I just have a mild OCD, and it shows itself in moments like this. Maybe selling it is the smart thing to do. If I get $300 (it's otherwise in pristine condition) that's already almost an M-Rokkor 40/2 which is even more compact and better suited for the CL.
