here's a few of the first roll of mitsubishi 100 i picked up for $1.54 a roll (shipped to my door and in canadian funds).
developed in tmax developer 1X4 for 5 mins.
50mm summicron f2 for #1
voigtlander 75mm f2.5 for #2
i've left them pretty much as is except for the re-size.
p.s. that's one of our poochies... my wife is involved in a pit bull rescue here in ontario. she sure is sweet for a "killer"?

tmax 100....
tmax 100....
well i shoot a lot of tmax 100 and as per the 2nd picture the mitsubishi holds up pretty well in comparison. apparently the mitsubishi is the same formula as efke 100. produced by a the german company maco... they make/made efke, agfa etc...
the only thing i have noticed os the cannisters come open real easy in the darkroom?!?!? a cause for concern? i don't know....
i'll try a few times and different soups over the next few weeks and keep you all posted.

Lovely pics, especially the seascape, which
looks like a classic for stock sales. Is it me
or does this film have a classic old time look?

IIRC, Efke film is made by Fotomika in Sambor Croatia, from the old Adox formulas.
this same company is now also marketing film with the Adox label.

Maco UP100 Plus is the same as Efke 100 (the older UP100 is Fomapan). Go to jandcphotography.com or digitaltruth.com for developing times. Rodinal at 1:100 is great with these films.

Pits are nice dogs if you don`t train them to be aggressive. Then they are the meanest thing on 4 legs and nothing but a ball of muscle.

ron... pit's are certainly NOT the meanest thing on 4 legs. i have 3 of em and they're are RIDICULOUSLY affectionate dogs (as most SANE owners will tell you). they are a very misunderstood breed of dog... i could go off here but i'll refrain. that little one i the pic is the biggest suck you'll ever see, and afraid of her own shadow! it is true that they are generally a walking muscle machine! she is ripped!

Mitsuishi Gekko is Maco UP100/Efke 100 and is physically packaged my Maco. There is a note on the box saying "Imported from Europe for Mitsibishi". Mitsubishi no longer "makes" this film as far as I know, and so what's available today is mostly short-dated.
I got 20 24 exp rolls for US$1/per
