mju-2 vs Pentax Espio Mini ?

All that matters is the "exit pupil", i.e. the aperture seen by the eye, not the size of the window. I don't have the pentax though.

even then the mju-2 has clearly a bigger view. but both has generally small vielfinder.
nothing compares to my agfa optima sensor!

There are Big Finder models from major manufacturers, mostly with 28mm and 32mm triplets - those finders are LARGE 🙂

Thought the Oly has a slightly larger viewfinder window, I find the Pentax to be easier to "find" when going to take a pic. Perhaps because I'm used to it... I've owned one since they first came out, but I think it may simply be where the window sits relative to where you hold the camera. I'm sure this varies for everyone though.

My complaint about the remote for the MJU-ii is you must point it to the front of the camera. I wold love to point it to the back.

Is that even possible?

due to lack of a remote i cant say here much, but i doubt it would work, cos the ir-sensor seems to be on the front

If that no front thing is important, how about using a mirror in front of Mju to throw a signal from remote to sensor? Just tried - it works 🙂

i think the espio is less noisy than the mju-2. but i have to test that again.

i have testet both cameras (together with a few other small compacts).
On a indoorshooting, without flash, the pentax is noticeable sharper. the mju-2 have produced some unsharp pictures. but i think i give my second mju-2 a test to verify my results.

till now i can say: the pentax is not that tough than the mju-2 but makes better pics. for everyday carry a take the mju-2
