Mju case

Hello.
I have nice mju II and yesterday I bought mju I in perfect condition for about 10$. Both have their original small cases made of something like fake leather and from both cases material is pilling off and that bits are sticky so they are all over camera if I carry it in them. Does anyone know is there a way to clean this case so it stops pilling off? Cases are perfect for mju and I have one of this beautiful cameras with me all the time so I would love to using this cases.

I have thrown away two or three of these cases and just use a small Tamrac case - better padding and no chance of gunk getting in the camera.

There's no stopping it. The real leather Olympus ones are good though. I think they made one for the other zooms, might fit.

Hi,

I've several cases like that from different makers but perhaps the same factory...

Olympus make cases for the mju's in a pure plastic with chrome fittings and a sort of suede version. Both lasting well. Failing that, any old non original generic one. But should mju's and XA's have cases? Discuss, use both side of the page if necessary. 🙂

Well it looks like i will get some other manufacturers case. When I carrying it with me it is always in my pocket but I have few of them so I am keeping it in cases to protect the camera and films in it from dust and thats why I need the case.
