MMF1 adaptor

I just got an Oly MMF-1 adaptor for my EP-1 and tested it with with an Oly 4/3 11-22; auto focus is a bit slow but fine. I also tested it on a friend's GH1 and auto focus does not work. When you turn on the camera, the display reads "turn to manual focus". I thought same 4/3 lenses would perform equally with the same 4/3 to m4/3 adapter.

Anyone has a similar experience?

1st-gen Pany m4/3 (G1, GH1, GF1) will only AF with CDAF-enabled Oly 4/3 lenses. They won't AF with most. 2nd-gen Pany (G2; G10? GH2?) will AF with all.

All Oly m4/3 cams will AF with all Oly 4/3 lenses.
