Modification of Pentax Espio Mini to retain flash settings

I tried similar on the oly mju-ii, but it didn't go too well in the end.

This mod to the Espio Mini seems to cause no such problems ... have a look:

I'd be interested to hear from anyone else who has tried something similar - to this, or any camera for that matter

The process of opening the cover and then selecting what mode to use on my espio is so quick I'd rather not risk doing this, and 90% of the time I slide open the door and take the shot and let the camera pick all the settings. Main appeal of a P&S camera for me.

The Mju is not so bad.. (at least the Mju-I is), it only needs two presses of the flash button. But the Leica Minilux, that's something else altogether.. IRC it required 6x button presses!

I'm less fussed about the amount of times I need to push a button ... At least then I have remembered to do it 🙂
