Well, for a couple of weeks I am going to be using a variation of the contax claw on all of my cameras. I had a minor accident at work earlier tonight: I cut the base of my right index finger. No nerve or tendon damage(hadn't put the knife I was using on a sharpening stone since last week) and it didn't hurt when I did it. But it sure does now and I have some stitches to gross out my nephew with. And of course I did it just as we were starting our dinner rush. Lots of tape and a fresh rubber glove got me through that and then off to the hospital.
I almost always have a book with me but not today so I thought I might take some pictures of the misceleanious(OK, there are too many vowels in that word) equipment and close up shots of my hand but the friendly staff suddenly got VERY uncomfortable so I put the Zorki back into my coat pocket. I couldn't have taken pics of my hand any way as my arms aren't that long!
I'm more embarassed than injured-I've been a cook for twenty some odd years now and this is the worst cut I've got. It's what I get for not paying attention.
At least when I broke my leg I got some time off
