Monorails

Hey all, I'm wanting to acquire a short 12 inch monorail for my calumet 4x5. Anyone know where I could find one that would fit? Or would it be a pain to cut the rail itself?

Regarding cutting... I'm assuming that you are talking about the square Calumet rail. If so, I don't see any reason why a very fine hacksaw (or something more sophisticated) wouldn't do the trick. I'd do whatever it takes to get a very clean and square cut. The endcap can be moved to the newly cut end, but you'll likely lose the spring-loaded stop unless you figure out how to drill and re-install it.
