Leica LTM MOOLY-C on IIIf?

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
Hope you don't mind that it's a short bodied Mooly on a IIIa you're listening to, but the sound is the same for the Mooly-C.

My 30 seconds of fame!
 
Not directly related to the Mooly-C, but heck I just wanted to keep this thread towards the top of the list!

Latest acquisition, but not in hand as it's off to get the full spit and polish. Leica IIIb Luftwaffen-Eigentum with 90mm f/4 all chrome Elmar. Camera was delivered in November of 1939, and the Elmar is part of batch 675001-677000, which supposedly is one of the rarest of all Elmars. Hopefully another Mooly will eventually grace this camera too!

Very nice Vince, congrats - does that Elmar have "sharkskin" covering?
I know the chrome one`s are rare, but the sharkskin one`s even rarer I think

PS: Very good job on the X`s....it protects the owner online so much better :)
 
It's an all chrome lens. I probably won't have this pair for another few weeks. Plus, I have a line on another (!) Mooly, but I'm waiting until potentially a better offer comes along (like a two speed for about the same price).

aHHHH!

Well, a MOOLY K in Grey would be interesting for me, while my baseplate`s paints a little worn LOL!!!!

But, I`d have to find one under $1,000 and that`s asking too much, have to find one from a Military estate sale, there`s so few Grey K motors that it would just be a dream to have one.......I bet less than 100 were made?
