Very nice. Thanks!
From a purely geeky standpoint, I was intrigued by the rendering of the background elements in the last few shots. Is the edge character a Noct thing, an M0 thing, or some combination?

very nice... this is the "Mid-Autumn Festival" celebrated by
chinese world-wide, eating "mooncakes" and sipping tea
while appreciating the moon. In some countries, this is
a public holiday.

It's all down to the lens:
The first seven and the last four are with the Noctilux - all but the spinners with it at f/0.95.
The out of focus blur ( bokeh ) is good on this lens - some other lenses render out of focus text with really strong double lines.

The bokeh I recognized as signature - it was the edge effect around people's heads that surprised me.

Nice Donald! I totally forgot that it was going on yesterday. Bummer as I was shooting most of the day in SF!
Crowded as always?

Here are a couple of increasing crops :

This was an extreme contrast situation : the girl was under the cover of a tent ; the men were outside against a whitewashed wall lit with extremely bright sunlight.
I'm sure I've seen similar effects in cinematography where defocusing against a white background results in the white eating into the silhouette.
In the orignal I had only applied purple and not green de-fringing - the crops have both on.
All sorts of aberrations going on - it is after all at f/0.95

Really really busy - we could put it on the RFF calendar for 2013.
Did you go to the Super Hero Street Fair instead ?

I don't know what I was doing, didn't hit anything interesting. Trolled my usual areas.
