Thanks George. These are from a whole series I have been working on since October. I went inside an abandoned house outside my hometown and found the place filled with old broken dolls!
I'm still putting together the whole project on my website, and I have a bunch more negatives to scan, but you can see most of what I have done so far on my Doll House Page.

This is me posing with Patty Playpal sometime in the early 1960's. I do not remember whose doll this was, but I think she belonged to a cousin. Upon seeing this picture recently, my wife mentioned that she had a Patty Playpal doll (the only reason I know the name of my long-lost date).
Frankly, if encountered this doll in my attic now, I'm pretty sure I'd freak out. She looks creepy.

Your explanation makes more sense. Perhaps an esatblishing shot of the house, which you probably have, would help explain the dolls and their situation. I can see myself photographing the dolls as found objects.

Yeah I need to get a couple shots outside the house, the weather hasnt been co-operative on the few days I've had free to shoot lately....2 weeks of school and two huge research papers to do! Had a third one i finished last week...busy! lol
