Cheap at 1.5 times the price....

Where have you been hiding.
This final auction price is consistent... even low, for a mid 70's rangefinder in black with full manual over-ride.
The camera is superbly presented by the seller. Description is very good. It's a highly sought model. It's black. And, did you see the condition of the ever-ready case... like new.
Even the battery problem is resolved. This is a "load film and go shooting" bargain at that price. I would not have been surprised to see $500.
Others like it in terms of similar demand and price are:
Canon Canonet QL17 GIII in black and similar condition
Minolta 7SII in Black and similar condition
Yashica 35CC Black similar
Olympus 35SPn in Black and similar.
All of these would sell high based on recent CLA, clean everready case, battery solution from the mercury PX625, etc. and lastly BLACK.
Most of these have lenses in the 35-40 focal length, and the Minolta and Konica are reputed to give Leica glass a run for the money. In fact, Minolta collaborated with Leica on some lenses, such as the Leica CL.
Depending on auction description quality and timing, All of these cameras, if similar to the one posted here commonly sell for $350 to $500. I saw two black canonet GIII's in the last year go for $600.
The Black finish is the decisive price point on all of these, as black was the preferred finish of Professional camera buyers in the seventies.
These are all great rangefinder choices from that era.
