I suspect these are digital images (probably) but a fine collection of pictures and a rather depressing (though funny) view of modern Russian life:

Scholars may wish to compare and contrast with the other link I posted recently featuring officially approved WWII pictures. Or they may not, of course.

It does feature lots of vehicles, if you are a fan of Russian transport.

They're appreciated. A lot of the other stuff seems like mockery though. I think the "limo" is pretty hardcore however.

That could be the ugliest truck I've ever seen. The 60's Ford Econoline vans were bad but this......dear God. The product of someone w/ utterly no taste (except for Vodka).

The text accompanying the "limo" photos is somewhere between ignorant and offensive. People in the Soviet Union owned plenty of personal property, to include automobiles and ... cameras! Sure, the vehicle depicted is rather tasteless (a 1962 Chevy Biscayne was also rather tasteless). But the assumptions are wrong, and the tone of ridicule gave me no interest in further exploring the site.

I'm sure the girl guide was sitting on the same subway seat I once used. And some of the passengers don't seem to have got off in fifteen years. You don't have to read the captions, just look at the pictures. By the way, where were the sunbathers, maybe I tired too before getting to that link.
