more help please

Joe, I can only say one thing, and it is...

SOUP !

:D

PS: Following Gene's advice in a previous thread I donwloaded and installed NeatImage. Works very well for 'product' shots, like for example those ones of your camera & coffee...

Just my 2 cents worth: I like the soup girl alot, and while wayne's editing was too contrasty (ie. it was very nice contrasty but gave the photo a different emotional feel, not as warm and nice but yet nice in its own way) to potray the girl as cute and childlike, I think the top right portion which includes the man reading newspapers is too bright, the eye after noticing the girl will stray to the bright part and rest on the man's newspapers.

I think the man on the left could be darkened in a vignetting effect (corner darkening) as he is cropped out of the picture and by darkening him slightly (not too much till he goes black and unrecognisable), the viewer will notice his presence (which is what you want) without noticing more info about him (which would then bring up the info about his cropping at the neck).

I"m not sure if you want the toy on the table to be lightened slightly to have a triangle of interests between the girl, the bowl of soup and the toy. but I think if so, it'll be an interesting picture about the relationship between the girl and the toy and soup while the other elements provide information on the environment around her and reinforces the focus on the girl.

Just my 2 cents worth, hope you don't mind my comments!
