Hope they give the option to mask to 645 but I bet they won't to keep costs down

Not likely. 645 masking is an easy feature to implement if you have a 6x9 camera with a red window as a frame counter. For 6x7, you can't have the red window, because there are no markings on 120 film backing for 6x7--you have to have a mechanical frame counter, which makes it much harder to implement multiple formats without making a bulkier camera, but on the other hand, it's not too hard to offer the option of 220 with this arrangement.
For 645, there are some nice modern compact rangefinder options anyway (Fuji, Bronica) of recent vintage.
