Not proclaiming these as fantastic photographs. But I just thought I'd toss a few of these up here. I've been spending some time on the weekends documenting the rebuilding of some old WWII era planes. Unfortunately, Saturday was the first day of trout season here, so they were all out fishing - and not working on the planes. Thus, these photos have no people in them.
All shot with an M8 at ISO 640. Not much in the way of post processing. Just run through C1, with minor adjustments to contrast. And I'm pretty sure everything was shot at max aperture. Not a lot of light in the hangar when the doors are closed.
Anyway, for whatever they are worth, here are the first three:

Lens performance seems fine, if that's what you're looking at.

Well they look great. I also like your processing of b/w with the M8, what is C1?

whoa no kidding, what in the world is that?
Anyway, I think the lens seems to be quite ok. The out of focus rendering seems a little uneven though. 5 and 6 have nice smooth backgrounds, 3 and 4 seems to have a lot of messy lines, maybe a little more then I would care to see, it lacks that fine smoothness from the likes of the yashinon's but seems ok. Looks like a good all around lens though.
Was this is MC or SC version?

Thanks for the images...

Yes, it's Capture 1. Using the B&W profiles made by JFI. This one supposedly emulates TRI-X.
Have no idea what the Bullsh** repellent is, other than just a joke. I noticed the can as I was on my way out.
It is the SC version. I tend to agree about the OOF renderings in some the images being a bit wild. Still, at the price and size of this lens. I think i'll be able to live with it. Just have to keep an eye on the back grounds.
