Well, even with the new bellows, I've still got light leaks. So, she's on her way back to Juergen.
I got these Provia 400 shots back and I've cropped around the leak on one, the other seemed unaffected.

I hope that this thing will be a shooter one day. I'm starting to think that I should just be happpy with the balda.

Dumb idea, maybe - How about installing a set of light seals yourself aroumd the channel where the rear cover fits into the body? Jon Goodman, a RFF member, sellls some that are pre-cut into strips.

I actually have some seals from Jeff.
I think the leak is coming from the bellows, certainly the bellows is cutting off the image (you can't see that in these shots)...and since Jurgen just replaced the bellows, its gone off to him for the fix.

Hi,
I was wondering how your Moskwa experience will turn up. Sorry to hear that you still have some problems with it.
Hope you will get it fixed. If not - next time for for classic like Bessa 6x9. I did and never regretted it. Superb cameras - I can't seem to stop raving about them, but it just blows me away how well these are built. And how well the work. I do like russian cameras - I have Iskra that works great, but they are quirky mechanically, yet often with great optics, so it's a little frustrating to know you have great glass in a poor mechanical shell. When you go for camera like Bessa - you get the best of both worlds - mechanically and optically.
Anyway, good luck with repairs,
George.

Test the bellows before you send this puppy back to Juergan.

My standard test for bellows is to stand in a dark camera at night and fire a flash unit through the back of the film gate towards the lens. If you have light leaks in the bellows, you'll have star bursts coming out of the front of the camera. It's overkill - but effective.

By the way, one of my Agfa Records has a bellows from a different make and it crops the image just a bit. Since, the bellows are light proof, I live with it.
